On our transformational retreats, we create a space where teens (grades 10th - 12th) from a cross-section of communities come together. They connect meaningfully with each other and tend to their emotional wellbeing.

When they move beyond Valo, teens carry what they have learned and go on to impact their communities.

Our evening retreat group is called, Solstice. The Solstice group offers a chance to step away, get honest about how we’re really feeling and be embraced by a supportive circle of teens. Come, retreat for an evening each month, we'll share a conversation and a meal. Our time together will culminate in an overnight retreat in the spring of 2024.

Who? Any 10th, 11th or 12th grader (not currently a part of an existing Valo retreat group)

​

When? Once-a-month, on Sunday evenings from 4pm - 7:30pm. Specific dates: January 21st, February 11th, March 24th, April 28th, May 26th

Where? Valo’s space at 121 Main St. in Yarmouth

​

Cost? Pay what you can (We really mean it! Our intention is for Valo to be accessible to all.)
